American Coalition for Autistic Children

Thank you for your support! The American Coalition for Autistic Children also known as the American Alliance for Disabled Children PAC, is a nonpartisan, independent expenditure-only group (not a charity) established under Section 527 of the tax code. We believe it is our duty to help elect responsible public officials, educate Members of Congress as well as the public about issues related to autism, and help elect candidates to office who support those issues.

About

Through your much-needed support, the needs of
Children and Families affected by Autism can be heard.

We need leaders who know about:

  • Congress Introduces Bill to Renew Funding for Autism Research—Autumn CARES Act of 2019 - A bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to enhance activities of the National Institutes of Health with respect to research on autism spectrum disorder and enhance programs relating to autism, and for other purposes. The measure, H.R. 1058, would ensure continued federal support for everything from autism research to prevalence tracking, screening, professional training, and other initiatives.
  • Special Needs Tax Credit Act: To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide credit to individuals for legal expenses paid with respect to establishing guardianship of a family member with disabilities.
  • Disability Employment Incentives: The Disability Employment Incentives Act (DEIA) will encourage employers to hire and retain people with autism and other disabilities by increasing the impact of three existing tax credits currently available to employers.

These are just a few of the many programs that we believe our elected officials should support. With your support, we can help elect leaders who will see to it that no child with a disability is ever treated unfairly.

Thank you again for your support. A large portion of the proceeds from this campaign are used to defray the costs of fundraising. Your support is very important to us. With the support of you and thousands of other like-minded concerned citizens, the American Alliance for Disabled Children PAC hopes to see elected public officials who will continue the fight for programs and legislation to support people in need!
